You good sir! Coming to Peru with tourism purposes? Want to go shopping for clothes or visiting a mall go to Jockey! why not?
This immense shopping structure,contains various stores where you can find ANYTHING you want like electronics, clothes, accessories, etc. This store is well know for the variety, uniqueness and its structure/system which is tidy and organized.The prices vary from store to store it all depends on what you want to buy and where, so be wise when choosing the store and item.
The stores are great, i particularly like Next Level, this is a store that has some similarities with what is known in the USA as GameStop , this stores has variety of games but not only that, it has many other items like board games,movies,plushies and more. The prices range from s./ 120 to s./ 230, but I can assure you that the price is worth it for the quality and compared to other places that sell the same unless you are feeling adventurous and want to go to some unsafe places of lima to get the lowest price possible, but I know that you won’t go because you value your life and money!
If video games and games in general are not your thing then never worry, these shopping facility has other stores. If you are looking for clothes the type you use for every day, for parties or just to have a souvenir that says you came to peru.I recommend these clothes stores: H&M,any Quiksilver/DC type of store,Nike, Saga Falabella and Ripley. These stores sell clothing, for a reasonable price and the service is good, the first store is for formal clothes and is more expensive than the other but is reasonable and the others are at an o.k level of price.
The other good thing about this facility is the restaurants. In addition in having the generic food court with fast food and healthy food, there are also restaurants where you can choose your food.The facility offers different types of restaurants: Longhorn,Papachos, etc. Additionally there are peruvian restaurants which serve typical food from the country like ceviche, lomo saltado and others.If you are feeling trying something new then go pay them a visit you may like what you taste! If you are not comfortable trying than just go to restaurant that serve “normal” food the type you like.
The Jockey Plaza is a great place to try something new, get your hands on great items that they offers in their variety of stores, get your belly stuffed with typical food and enjoy a day of just plain old shopping and looking around. This facility does not only offer that but offers a great service, a immense place to enjoy yourself and recreational center like Coney park,Divercity and a movie theater called Cine Mark where you can enjoy the latest movies and where you can play arcade games.After all this is a great place to go by yourself or to go as a family, it up to you!
