Jockey Plaza: A great way to spend the day
Visiting Peru? You want to stopover the latest stores that are recognized all around the world? Then you should definitely visit the Jockey Plaza. Jockey Plaza is the most famous and most visited mall in Lima. From electronic stores to new clothing stores, it varies from many different store and restaurant varieties. Jockey Plaza is also for kids because it has a huge arcade zone where there are many fun games and also there is a pet store and a veterinary. Jockey Plaza also has a big movie theater called Cinemark. It has an abounding amount of parking lots and has a great security system called “Los Portales”. If you are visiting Lima, then flowing to this place is definitely a must.
Jockey Plaza is located in the district of Surco in Lima and it is open from 11:00 a.m. all throughout 10:30 p.m. It has several entrances that you can go through, one is the main entrance and it is in front of the Jockey Plaza, and the other entrance is next to Javier Prado avenue which is one of the most important big avenues in Lima.
The environment is very clean and it’s cleaned daily like an enormous palace. The floors inside the main mall are actually bright and shiny because the cleaning staff are always there to pick up any trash and to provide an excellent service to the customers. As well as the mall itself, the stores inside the mall provide an excellent service and if you have a doubt on where to go, feel free to ask anyone.
In the last couple of years, there have been a lot of new stores added on to the Jockey Plaza like; H&M, Zara, Pinkberry, Tutifruti, Papachos, etc. This is because the ratings of this exemplary mall are almost reaching 5 stars as an average. The ratings are also very good because there is a very big food court with a lot of different restaurants. At the same time, a lot of the tourists that visit the mall are often fascinated on how many stores there are.
Now, I want to talk about the projects and the things that the managers and architects accomplished and are planning to do. First of all, in 2012 the amazing boulevard was open for the first time providing more stores, parking lots, restaurants, and even a lego store. This improved so fast, like the speed of light, both the service and the ratings of Jockey Plaza. Also, last year, there was a huge area of Jockey Plaza that was enlarged and now it is even bigger. That expanded area now has more than 15 new stores and as well as a big tall parking lot that has 7 floors. All of these projects have improved the Jockey Plaza in many ways and there might be more in the future.
