The Huaca Pucllana Restaurant
A taste you’ll never forget.
The Huaca Pucllana is one of my favorite restaurants and Peruvian archeological sites in Peru. The restaurant itself right next to the archeological site and has nice lighting at night, there is probably no better place in miraflores. The food is delicious with a variation of popular Peruvian fish and typical meals, the dessert is my favorite part with delicious taste, texture and presentation. The Huaca Pucllana definitely has the best desserts in all of Peru. It’s a great place to go along, with a few people or with friends. You will have the best time of your life exploring the ancient Peruvian pyramids of the cost and eating delicious meal that you’ll never forget.
The Huaca Pucllana had started being developed from 200 AD to 700 AD. As a whole, the construction is surrounded by a central square, or plaza, that borders the outer boundaries, and by a big wall dividing it into two separate parts. In one part there were rock benches and evidence of deep excavation where offerings of fish and other marine life took place in order to get the favor of the gods they believed in. The other section is an managerial area. This area contains many small clay structures and small houses made of adobe, with some walls still standing, whose purpose seemed to be to act as the courtyards and terrace of the paddock which is over 500 meters in length, 100 in width and 22 in height. There are many things about the beautiful Huaca Pucllana but it’s even more interesting to go there for yourself and see the mysterious knowledge and daily lives of the ancient lima culture.
My experience in the Huaca Pucllana was unforgettable, actually i’ve been there quite a few times and it has always been great. I’ve always been there with others and as experienced it is always fun to be there with friends or family. The services there are great and flawless, the food, waiters and generally people working there are eminent. The landscape is beautiful and enormous. Visiting a country’s culture is great especially while eating a fresh and culturally related peruvian dish. While relaxing it is filled with happiness and emotion when looking at an ancient cultures discoveries and creations.
The variation of food that they have at the restaurant is incredible. You can choose your food coming from animals from the sea to the sky. The desserts are also extremely delicious as they are culturally related with everything else in Peru. Once you take a bite you won’t ever want to stop eating the mouthwatering sweet or salty and perfect food. Also, i would recommend going at night so you can see the lights of lima resounding under the other side of the archaeological site. There is a perfect lighting and if you want and if you get close enough to the edge of the restaurant, right next to the archaeological site you can see the holes dug up for bodies and ancient golden riches found not long ago.
