This park is a MUST when visiting the city of Lima, since it features fascinating world-class water fountains, is fun for the whole family, and adds the relaxing entertainment element to a cultural and gastronomic visit of this city. Parque de la Reserva (Park of the Reserve) is a fountain complex that includes 13 different fountains. It’s located in downtown Lima, the exact address being Madre de Dios, Lima 15046. Parque de la Reserva is an extraordinarily entertaining fountain complex, famous for its powerful and high-reaching jets of water that certainly needs to be included in your trip to Lima. This park is a water maze with 13 different fountains. Some have light shows and others are interactive, perfect for a hot, dry day. The largest fountain, called Fuente mágica (Magic Fountain), contains a jet that can shoot water like a geyser up to 80 meters high.

Another well-known fountain is the Fuente Tunel de las Sorpresas (Tunnel fountain of surprises). This fountain is a 35 meter walk-thru tunnel of water. In this fountain, the strong, narrow jets of water look like strings that are levitating to let you pass.

The last part of the spectacle is the best one of all. At night, there’s a light and water show, where the water goes in sync with the lights, creating beautiful, stunning dancing jets of water. It feels like you are in a big theater and 13 different plays are going on at the same time, you don’t know which one to watch first!

If you have children, they will love gamboling in the amusing interactive fountains, since Parque de la Reserva is like a water playground for them.
