Do you want to have the very best possible french cuisine experience in Lima and maybe even all of Peru? Then come to any of the Delifrance restaurants, located either in Surco, Barranco and Miraflores. Delicious dishes uhhhmmm!!, aromatic herbs and absolutely fabulous french dishes, make this restaurant one of the most outstanding restaurants in Lima. You dont have to believe me saying how great it is,check multiple reviews websites, trip advisor gave it a 4.6 which is a great score for a restaurant and Alex D gave it a 5/5 claiming it was the best restaurant in all of Lima. Multiple international travel magazines have qualified it as very recommendable, it has scored in the top 50 french restaurants in america.
When you first get out of your car and contemplate the restaurant you will believe it is a very vintage and ostentatious restaurant, your first impression will probably be that you are are in one of the fancy french restaurants, like Le Stella which is located in Paris, the door is made of a very fine and polished black wood, the outside is fairly simple which gives it an elegant look, but when you get to the interior your prospects of the restaurant will completely change. The first time you enter the restaurant you will be surprised about how different it is from the inside, the inside is very suggestive, there are a lot of posters of animals, old black and white movies and France, There are a lot of dried flowers and hundreds of wine corks used as a decoration.
When you get there the eatery will probably be full or as close as can be because this is one of Lima’s most popular restaurants, especially on weekends and holidays so it is advised you ask for a reservation before going, one of the waiters will guide you to one of the tables, the waiters are very nice and they will give you your time to decide what you want to eat, if you are not sure what food you would like to eat the waiter will very kindly recommend you their best dishes. I ordered a baguette to a very nice and patient waiter that gave us great recommendations, like the hachis du canard, which I also ordered. My order was served quicker than a speeding bullet, that was awe-inspiring because the restaurant was full. The waiter was very patient with our orders and always explained what it was and how it was made.
Many people think that food in this restaurant is very expensive, but excluding the bread which is overpriced all the other dishes which are very high quality are surprisingly affordable. I ordered the baguette to a very nice and calm waiter that gave us great recommendations, like the hachis du canard, which i ordered. The order came extremely fast with the baguette as if he was a speeding bullet. The food was fantastic, i asked for a Hachis Du Canard , this plate consist of mashed potatoes with slices of duck and some vegetables , even before i tasted the dish it looked splendid and very finely crafted and organized, you could see a lot of work had gone into making it , the smell that was coming out of it would probably make your mouth water , the combination of the duck, herbs and mashed potatoes was terrific, the sweet taste stayed in my mouth for a long time, Even though i had eaten duck meat many times i had never enjoyed it as much, as in DeliFrance. The other foods i tested were also magnificent , shout-out the the crepe du chocolat.
As I´ve expressed myself before this,experience was a very positive one.If you would have the gratitude to stay in this charming city do not doubt a thrilling second to try this eatery because if you don´t,you will be missing a great flavour that represents this country in an incredible way.Choose well,Go to Deli France.Because it has marvelous food, a magnificent french aesthetic,the service is a fast as a speeding bullet going at a 1,000 miles per hour.
