Alright so before I get into the list, this amuses me.

I decided rather than use a picture of myself at work, or one of my animals, I’d go on Pexels and see what they had. I looked up “Veterinary” and ALL of the pictures were of MEN.

That’s HILARIOUS.

The veterinary profession is DOMINATED by women.

Which is probably why we make absolutely no money. At my hospital alone, where there are around 30 employees, two of them are male. At my last hospital, we had about 25 employees, one of them was male.

I’ve worked with 3 male vets and 12 female vets in my career. And almost every tech I know is female. But cool, Pexels. Cool.

So I wrote a piece that was in direct response to a comment someone left me about how Dr. Google diagnosed their pet when SEVERAL veterinarians got it wrong. Yeah. So did Dr. Google because the disease they internet-diagnosed their pet with was actually quite manageable and the pet died in two years. So it wasn’t that. That article is here:
