This is a collection of short essays about ideas that (per the subtitle) are “lost, overlooked, and underappreciated scientific concepts that everyone should know”. The subtitle is the worst part of the book, as, while the ideas are all very interesting, some are not lost, overlooked or underappreciated and I’m not sure everyone has to know them.
