Owning a dog carries many responsibilities. Not only do you have to care for them and feed them, they also need vaccinations and regular boosters. But that’s not all. As life goes on, it becomes apparent that other rules come into play and must be strictly adhered to.

To be the perfect dog owner you must read and fully digest the following guidelines:-

1. Whenever a packet of biscuit or sweets is opened, the first one out of the packet, must be given to the dog. This is so your faithful companion can ensure that they are safe enough for you to eat. The responsible dog will request regular tastings to ensure that the rest of the packet has not been contaminated in any way.

2. All windows (and open doors) should be at dog height. How else do you expect a dog to be ‘on guard’ if it can’t see out of the windows?

3. When on holiday, always take a photo of the local landmarks with your dog in the foreground. Dogs will insist on this. They need holiday snaps too.
