Bobi lives in the village of Conqueiros near Leiria, Portugal, and he broke an almost century-old record becoming the oldest dog that ever lived.

As he approaches another birthday, the record-breaking pooch has set an unbelievable mark in canine longevity.

According to Guinness World Records, the Portuguese mascot was born on May 11, 1992.

Since January 9, 2023, he has held the canine longevity title at the honorable age of 30 years and 243 days.

That’s more than 133 human years.

If I had used the old “seven years per human year” formula, the number would rise to 210.

Curiously, most charts and online calculators will only show results for up to 20-year-old dogs.

One of those tools when I typed “30” didn’t give any result. It just showed the following remark:

“Dogs don’t live that long, do they?”

I guess they never heard about Bobi.
