It is with a very heavy heart and struggling thru teary eyes to write that my nearly 12-year-old Golden Retriever Kimba has passed.

All of us who have pets know how much they mean to us, and Kimba was very special to us.

Kimba was your typical Golden, goofy, intelligent, entertaining, and comforting. Her constant smile, wagging tail, wanting to be with the people, wanting to play, and of course, massive snuggles and being petted could put a smile on anyone’s face. She gave her love unconditionally to all.

She was always SOOOOOO happy to see a member of her “pack.” She would literally lose her mind when you came thru the door, showing you how glad she was to see you again. Even if you just left the house for 10 minutes 😊She would bark, spin and leap every time she would see me holding the leash, and asking her if she wanted to go for a walk. Then, she would grab the leash with her mouth, jump off the front 4 stairs and pull you for the first 50 yards to the amusement of neighbors and people driving past us. This would repeat itself every time. For nearly 12 years. Without fail.
