Communities & Ecosystem

• Community stats: As of January 22nd, over 6,500 new subscribers followed Phala’s Twitter for a 50% weekly growth rate, and more than 10,000 new people came into the Phala universe🌌 last week.

• The prize for the 「PolkadotProject guide event」 and 「Phala&Zenlink giveaway」 were given out last week, 9,550 PHA had been distributed to 150 participants. Full lists:

Activities&News

• To maximize our chances of getting listed on OKEx through the event hosted by OKEx–Deposit, Phala provided a $20,000 PHA prize pool to incentivize users to deposit PHA on OKEx. If PHA gets launched on OKEx successfully, individual participants will get up to 88 PHA as rewards.
• January 16th, PHA took 1st place in CoinGecko’s trending search. Congratulations to Phala for being a top trender in the 2021 crypto world!🎉

• January 19th, PHA was listed on CoinTiger. To celebrate this launch, 6,150 PHA was given away as a prize pool to the POLKATIGER AMA and the MEME creativity challenge campaign.
• January 20th, Marvin was invited to the SPECTER GRP AMA live group to describe Phala and Phala’s latest news. During the Question time, Marvin stressed the difference between Phala and other privacy projects: Phala aims to provide privacy preservation to smart contracts, which can’t be delivered by other projects currently in the market.
• January 22nd, Marvin attended DeFi seven O’clock community and bishijie.com live studio, where he discussed Polkadot’s future trends and how to position Phala, itself. At the live studio, he shared with Staifi, Bifrost, Crust, and Litentry that he thought Polkadot was the strongest competitor to Ethereum.
