Phala Network has expanded its partnership with Maskbook, a popular privacy protection product, with missions through a map of privacy protection apps and Web3.0 data protection ecosystem.

Phala Network is a Substrate-based interoperable cross-chain confidential smart contract platform, aiming to solve the privacy dilemma on blockchains for all users and companies through a decentralized and incentivized TEE confidential network. Empowered by the computing powers of TEEs, Phala Network will be a parachain on Polkadot and serve DeFi and data service companies with next-generation privacy protection technology.

Maskbook is an open-source browser extension that enables all Internet users to create encrypted posts on social networks such as Facebook and Twitter. Maskbook, as a privacy-focused browser extension, supports decentralized social networking, borderless payments, decentralized file storage and sharing, and so on. Users are able to own rights to their data without having to limit their use of social media. Most importantly, users have the creative freedom to create unique features on top of the Maskbook platform.

Through such a partnership, Phala will support Maskbook on infrastructure building and Both of them will jointly build personal databases of privacy-protected products. Also, they will cooperate on bilateral community building and ecosystem resource integration.
