Dear Souldiers and SOUL Masters,
After a successful main net launch last month, it is time to introduce the first members of the Phantom Force! These members and teams have been selected through their contributions to the Phantasma ecosystem and their skills in game development.
Individuals
Mathias
Mathias first heard about blockchain in 2013, but back then didn’t really look much into it. He really got involved in mid 2017 after Antshares rebranded to NEO. Mathias liked the idea of a smart economy and the philosophy of decentralization in general, thus was playing around with Ethereum and Neo smart contracts, and used neo-python most of the time. Mathias is a full time developer, with a full time job which is not blockchain related (yet). Mathias is joining Phantom Force due to his prolific skills in developing with a track record in NEO’s ecosystem. Mathias is a developer of the Phantom Wallet.
Why Phantasma

Vincent Geneste
Addicted to blockchain since late 2016, network architect by day, and blockchain enthusiast by night, Vincent is heavily involved in everything NEO/NEP5 related as he created neoeconomy.io and also works for neonewstoday.com. Vincent is joining the Phantom Force due to his contribution to Phantasma as a developer and will integrate Phantasma into neoeconomy.io. Vincent is a developer of the Phantom Wallet.

Chris
Blockchain and cryptocurrencies are Chris’ passion, as he is very happy to do his part in this revolution of decentralization and bringing back the power and ownership where it belongs: to the users. Chris is the Co-Founder of Phantastic Casino and content creator of MyCryptoSpirit.com, the second-best crypto community! Chris joins the Phantom Force as software tester due to his commitment of testing the Phantasma App. As a enthusiast gamer and user of applications, Chris tests all kinds of dApps, games and other software for Phantasma chain. He does this with a user point-of-view and aims to make it as easy-to-use as possible.

Why Phantasma
‘’We have been designing and developing 22 Racing Series as an online competitive racing title with a community centric economy for 10 years. It had always needed very specific backend solutions for things like asset item exchanges, borderless currency exchanges, transparent contracts for online competitions etc, and so we saw blockchain as the perfect solution for these. However, given that we’d put so much time into designing an extensible economy that required some unique and specific use cases, we needed a blockchain partner that both had the technology that could back it up, as well as also see the potential for what blockchain could be for a next generation of gaming. In 2019, GOATi Entertainment entered into partnership with Phantasma to integrate blockchain technology into 22 Racing Series. We did not take the step at finding a partner lightly, thus spent a number of years reviewing blockchain technologies and meeting with development teams, trying to find the right technology and partner fit for what we wanted to do. The team at Phantasma not only agreed with our philosophies around developing a more open and extensible blockchain solution, but had started Phantasma with precisely the view of filling the same gaps in the blockchain technology market that we saw and had already started on the path of building the technology that we needed. For both teams it was a natural fit.’’

Phantastic Casino provides their players with high quality entertainment that is user friendly whilst being safe and transparent. Phantastic Casino wants to involve the community in the continuous development of casino games and features, meaning those interested can provide and vote for ideas to implement in Phantastic Casino games. The first game in development is ‘’Spin Your SOUL’’.
Casinos can and should be fun and exciting! The team was frustrated by casino games that are both dubious and non-transparent, thus wanted to provide players with casino games that are exciting to play with great interface! But first and foremost, it is absolutely necessary for the casino to be trustworthy and safe, which is why they are developing it on blockchain.
Why Phantasma
‘’There are certain aspects we really wanted to implement and only Phantasma Chain delivers the full package. NFTs allow for an extra dimension in casino prizes which are useable in other games within the complete Phantasma ecosystem. NFTs will also allow players to create custom and unique profile characters later on in Phantastic Casino. Besides that, Phantasma has a built-in decentralized file storage which allows us to store our development data safe and secure. And lastly, the Phantom Force provides easy access to knowledge and sharing this knowledge about development by building on a co-herent ecosystem with other teams and developers.
In short, we could not make Phantastic Casino the way we want it to work without Phantasma Chain. We are massively excited to be a part of the Phantasma ecosystem and cannot wait to share everything with the community and get the dice rolling!’’

Why Phantasma
‘’Phantasma is the only chain that has everything we need. We would not be able to implement more than half of our game’s features if we chose the next-best infrastructure blockchain. Some of Phantasma’s features include oracles, interoperable swaps, unlimited scaling, storage, developer funding and an all-in-one app. If we had to highlight two things that had the biggest impact with our decision they would be the UnitySDK and confidence.
Half of all games globally are made with Unity. Thanks to Phantasma, developers can create high quality games inside unity and leverage all the innovative features blockchain technology offers. This is a first for the blockchain industry.
We would not spend thousands of hours developing a dApp on a chain we were not 100% confident in. The quality of dapps Phantasma has and will built is a first for the industry, and is a good representation of limitless types of dApps you can build on Phantasma. Most importantly, we are confident in the community. It seems that almost every member of this young community is eager to help out and play a role. Probably because we are all confident in Phantasma, the ultimate infrastructure blockchain ecosystem. In conclusion, we are building next-generation games and we could only do it on a next-generation blockchain.’’

This is only the beginning, as we are continuously scouting for exceptional talent throughout the crypto space to add to the Phantom Force.
