PhD: if it was easy everybody was doing it
just like everything else in life…
being a doctor is not easy, if it was easy everybody was doing it.
being a teacher is not easy, if it was easy everybody was doing it.
being a mom is not easy, if it was easy everybody was doing it.
being an engineer is not easy, if it was easy everybody was doing it.
being a cook is not easy, if it was easy everybody was doing it.
being a writer is not easy, if it was easy everybody was doing it.
Everything in life is hard & people have different sets of skills…and that is the only and beautiful reason of why we all have different paths in life.
We all complain how our life is complicated and how our job is not easy, but things cannot be happy, pink and sweet all the time, right?
The PhD path (or the academic path in general) is not easy, it´s lonely, it´s painful and slow, but that was my choice since the beginning.
All our choices have the good and bad consequences and that is it. It is now our responsibility to make the best with it…
…and I´m doing my best to make the best of my PhD ( or at least to survive it!)
