PHILADELPHIA (May 15, 2018) — First Assistant District Attorney Robert L. Listenbee and members of the office’s Election Task Force (ETF) today announced that the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office (DAO) is prepared to respond to incidents of voter fraud, electioneering, or any criminal activity that may take place on primary Election Day.

“Every election is important, and this primary election is no exception,” said Robert L. Listenbee, First Assistant District Attorney. “With candidates running for mayor, city council, judges, and with important ballot questions, the Election Task Force has an important responsibility to ensure the integrity of the election, so we will be strategically deployed before the polls open and ready to respond to any allegation of fraud or violation of the law.”

If someone has an issue at the polls they should call the office’s hotline at 215–686–9641, 9643 or 9644

Approximately 50 Assistant District Attorneys and about 20 specially assigned District Attorney Detectives will be deployed throughout Philadelphia when the polls open at 7 a.m.

The ETF was created in 2014 to investigate and prosecute allegations of Election Day criminal activity. It is part of the office’s Special Investigations Unit and will be issuing updates through the office’s Twitter account while the polls are open.
