For the Commonwealth: Assistant District Attorney Alicia Straining

For the Commonwealth highlights the important work our prosecutors are doing to help secure justice in specific cases brought by the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office.

Assistant District Attorney Alicia Straining of our Major Trials Unit helped secure justice in a case involving a defendant accused of repeatedly stabbing a female. The defendant was found guilty of Aggravated Assault and related charges before the Hon. Mia Roberts-Perez. He will be sentenced in September.
