For the Commonwealth highlights the important work our prosecutors are doing to help secure justice in specific cases brought by the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office.

Assistant District Attorney Angela Brennan of our Major Trials Unit helped secure justice in a case involving a defendant accused of assaulting a woman who is a complainant against him in another case. The defendant threatened and then attacked the woman and her two small children while they were in the complainant’s car by throwing bricks at the vehicle. Using video of the attack in addition to testimony from the complainant and two Philadelphia Police officers, ADA Brennan secured a guilty verdict before the Hon. Kai Scott and will be sentenced in November.
