For the Commonwealth highlights the important work our prosecutors are doing to help secure justice in specific cases brought by the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office.

Assistant District Attorney Eamon Kenny of our Family Violence and Sexual Assault Unit helped secure justice against a defendant accused of repeatedly raping his girlfriend’s daughter when she was a child. The victim disclosed the abuse years later. A jury found the defendant guilty of all charges. The defendant is scheduled for sentencing by the Hon. Mark Moore in November.
