For the Commonwealth: Assistant District Attorney Sydnee Fielkow

For the Commonwealth highlights the important work our prosecutors are doing to help secure justice in specific cases brought by the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office.

Assistant District Attorney Sydnee Fielkow of our Family Violence and Sexual Assault Unit helped secure justice recently in a case involving a defendant accused of opening fire on a car being driven by the mother of his child and in which his two-year-old son was also present. The incident occurred in November 2020. ADA Fielkow presented an eyewitness to the incident, ballistic evidence, and surveillance video, to during trial to secure a conviction. The defendant was found guilty of Aggravated Assault, illegal firearm possession, and related charges. He will be sentenced by the Hon. Robert Coleman on October 15.
