For the Commonwealth: ADA Ashley Martin

For the Commonwealth highlights the important work our prosecutors are doing to secure justice in specific cases brought by the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office. Today we highlight the work of ADA Ashley Martin of our Major Trials Unit.

Thanks to ADA Ashley Martin for successfully prosecuting a case involving a defendant with prior felonies who was charged with illegal possession of a firearm. During an early morning vehicle investigation in May of last year, it was discovered that the defendant had a ski mask on his person in addition to the firearm. The defendant will be sentenced in October by the Honorable Kai Scott.
