Today, Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner announced a new DAO policy that will significantly reduce the number of people on probation and parole while freeing up resources to allow caseworkers to focus on people who truly need supervision.

He was joined by Stoneleigh Foundation Fellow Sangeeta Prasad, Julie Wertheimer (Senior Director of Criminal Justice Reform Strategies and Programs for the City of Philadelphia), LaColombe CEO Todd Carmichael, PowerCorpsPHL Executive Director Julia Hillengas, P.O.W.E.R.’s Rev.
