Welcome to the Special London edition of the sixers recap

The Sixers blow a 22 point lead in to the Celtics and lose by 11, 114–103. So it’s official everyone. The Sixers have blown a big lead in 3 countries. This sucks, the teams winning streak is over as they fall to 19–20.

The Sixers were outscored 66–46 in the 2nd half. JJ Redick had 22 points, did good, shot well. Embiid had 10 rebounds, didn’t score much but he still had an impact. Simmons had 2 blocks.

The team had 19 turnovers and only had 2 in the first quarter. We had a great first half, the Celtics had a great second half

Simmons — 16 points

Embiid — 15 points

Saric — 14 points

Covington struggled, only 5 points, 2–8 FG. 1–5 from three. Mcconnell played like the Goat that he is 12 points, 6–11 FG in 26 minutes on his 1 year anniversary of his clutch baseline buzzer beater over Carmelo Anthony to beat the Knicks 98–97. The Sixers are 2–1 in January. They were 10–5 last year.

Their next game is against the Raptors at the Wells Fargo Center, at 1:00 pm on MLK Day. By then Philly will know whether or not the Eagles will be in the NFC Championship. Enjoy it Philly #TrustTheEagles
