Sixers lose to the Grizzlies 105–101 thanks to the turnovers.

You can say what you want, young team this, young team that, but let me tell you something no team under any circumstances should turn the ball over 24 times, that’s not a young team, that’s a bad team.

The Sixers have been playing really well but this game was very frustrating to watch as a Sixers fan, they were in control the whole entire game and turn the ball over many times in the 4th. They had a chance to win at the end but Robert Covington took a very dumb three when he could’ve laid the ball up to tie it 103–103, but instead, air balls and they are down 103–101 and had to foul with 6 seconds left. Game. Set. Match.

Timothe Luwawu-Cabarot played very well as he had 20 points and 6 three-pointers. Dario Saric played pretty well with 22 points, 2 assists, 10 rebounds. Robert Covington had 18 points, 3 assists, 6 rebounds. The Sixers had 4 players that had at least 4 turnovers. Very frustrating game.

The Sixers next game is on Wednesday, January 24th vs the Bulls at the Wells Fargo Center at 7:00 pm.

The good news is that the Eagles will be playing in the super bowl and it is the first time the Eagles, Phillies, Flyers or sixers have made the championship in their respective sports since 2010 when the Flyers lost in the Stanley Cup. This is the Eagles first super bowl appearance since 2005 when they lost to the Patriots and they meet again on February 4th, 2018.
