Sixers hang on to beat the Toronto Raptors 117–111.

The Sixers had the lead the whole game, Raptors never got the lead. Their biggest lead was 21 and was up by 18 at the end of the 3rd.

The Raptors started to come back by going on a 15–3 run in the 4th and eventually made it a 1 point game. The Sixers then went on a 5–0 run and held on to win the game by 6.

Backup point gaurd TJ Mcconnell had a career-high 18 points off the bench (8–13 FG). He played a lot because of starting point gaurd Ben Simmons’ foul trouble. Center Embiid had 34 points in 34 minutes. shooting gaurd J.J. Redick had 15 points, Ben Simmons had 12 points, and Forwards Robert Covington and Dario Saric both had 11 points. Center Amir Johnson and Forward Trevor Booker both had 7 and Jerryd Bayless had 2. Toronto shooting gaurd Demar DeRozan gave the Sixers problems as he had 24 points.

Simmons and Raptors point gaurd Kyle Lowry exchanged words and got ejected with 6.5 seconds left.

The Sixers shot well as a team going 40/81 (49.4%) from the field. They did have 21 turnovers which is not winning basketball but they were able to hold on thanks to clutch free throws at the end by Embiid and Saric.

The Sixers as a team had 8 steals and 9 blocks.

Sixers improve to 20–20 and the Raptors fall to 29–13.

Sixers next game is Thursday at the Boston Celtics, at 7:00 pm
