The Philadelphia 76ers lose to the Oklahoma City Thunder 112–112.
Welp… We had things going for us in the third but we lost it in the fourth quarter.

Point guard Ben Simmons was the MVP for the Sixers in this game with 22 points, 7 assist and 4 rebounds. Center Joel Embiid totaled 27 points, 10 rebounds, and 2 assists. Forward Dario Saric had 16 points and 3 rebounds.

Thunder point guard Russel Westbrook killed the Sixers, he totaled 37 points, 14 assist and 9 rebounds. Forward Paul George had 31 points, 4 assist and 4 rebounds. Center Steven Adams added with 20 points and 13 rebounds.

The Sixers got killed on offensive rebounds which allowed the Thunder to get a lot of second-chance points. T.J. McConnell got killed by Russel Westbrook and I started to question why Sixers coach Brett Brown kept him in when the Thunder were in the middle of a 15–0 run late in the third. That run turned the whole momentum of the game around and we couldn’t rebound in the 4th.

Another thing that killed us was turnovers…turnovers. It’s not like we haven’t heard this before. The Sixers had 18 turnovers with the majority of them coming in the 4th.

The Sixers’ next game is tomorrow vs the Mikuakee Bucks. Joel Embiid is scheduled to play tomorrow, his first time playing in both games of a back-to-back this season. The game starts at 8 PM.
