I regret my decision to buy the Paper Pro and returned it. This is my breakdown of why I returned it within the 100 days.

Let me share why and what I believe the team needs to fix to get me swayed to try again. Hardware-level changes are not easy, so I may need to wait for a while.

Yes. I’m a fan, but…

I’d have to admit. I’m a reMarkable fanboy. Pre-ordered the original RM1 device months before it’s release in November 2017. Admittedly, it took quite a while for the software to eventually get on par with their promise of a better paper. For me, it was an immediate win as it could export to PDF directly in one go when needed, without hassle.

I am an avid note-taker, and have been throughout my professional career. Capturing fleeting thoughts, actions, questions and key information in every meeting I join to ensure the right stuff gets done. I think things through visually on paper to learn and understand.

The reMarkable 2

When the reMarkable 2 came out I felt it was the perfected device. The black felt tip on the marker pro with the eraser on the back made for an excellent writing experience.
