This post is about my second day of my trip to Philippines. You can also read about the first day.

There are 2 main tours are available here: Island hopping and Chocolate Hills. Today is the day for the Island hopping tour.

Dolphins

Second day started pretty early at 5am, because we the dolphins are passing by early. After some time travelling with the boat, we’ve seen a bunch of them. I was unable to frame them but some of them visible at the center of the following photo.

Dolphins

This dolphin-watching experience was a bit disturbing, because as soon as the dolphins surface, all the boats start to chase, which apparently scares them.

This cycle continued for a couple of times until we’ve decided to go to the Balicasag Island. If you are not interested in seeing some chased animals by a dozen of boats, I suggest you may better get your sleep instead of disturbing those animals.

Balicasag Island

Balicasag Island is a coral reef with a magnificent view, both under the sea and over it. After we’ve left our boat, hopped into a smaller one to go to a beach where we can snorkel.

The small boat is taking us to the corals

You can see the view of the sea from the header photo of this post. Those spider-like boats will be my favourite vehicle for a long time.

Virgin Island

Next stop is the “Virgin Island”, to see a sandbar. This place has the most spectacular scene I’ve seen recently. It is not easy to frame it’s glory, but still, no harm in trying:

It is said that the island is owned by a Dutch. Lucky guy! We returned to Panglao Island around mid-day, spent time chilling, swimming etc.
