a lesson nietzsche taught me

my kindness my compassion my generosity my help my empathy
all of them
are two things
those altruisms and virtues are
for power and selfish interests

i proclaim
to be the most self honest there is and ever was
i have true integrity

but my power and selfishness is okay
it’s not something to be suppressed or shamed
it’s life-force it’s glorious it’s beautiful
