For years the beauty of such an enchanting, refined, imperfect floral creation has captivated my soul. Seized my every breath. Eased my anguish. Gave vitality to an empty vessel.

Such a nonpareil from the Heavens was bestowed on this Earth, in this universe, to bring forth the feathery caress of Aphrodite’s love. The flower is rare. It’s sole purpose is to hide in the depths of shadows, shying away from light, while foreseeing the dawn of happiness for the perfect efflorescense.

Delicate as it may be, it’s stem is firm and steady. As piddling in size it may be appear, it’s pales in comparison to its vibrant colors and sleek pedals. The eyes are seduced by its antithetical aura, as it travels effortlessly through the diaphanous distress nature inflicts.

In the Garden of Eden, this floret was crafted to traverse the everlasting seasons. Never wither, never fracture, never forsake. Always endure.

The Stargazer Lily was planted to manifest into the illustrious, celestial being I’ve forever hoped it would become.

Yet, it remains illusory.
