in which the idea of a weekend, sans-inebriation is enough to send our lips into a quiver
And down our spine, a shiver

So used to words and images flying by
¶
A world only viewed through a glass eye
¶
A lens in which we cannot possess, despite our vision
¶
For we may be filled with ambition
¶
But the world is in no condition
¶
To provide fuel for our transmission;
¶
To turn ideas to a reality
¶
So we are forced to work, worry, and obsess
¶
Solely depending on our tireless effort to result in progress
