If the main objective of the ‘ Way ’ you are following , is power, the most important principle to abide by, is to never outshine your master as long as his master-ship holds. In the larger scheme of things , you must also have your master playing by you in your path of attaining the power. You have to elevate him before others and entertain his orders as he desires , to make his plans successful. By this I don’t mean that you need to submit yourself before him. Submission is never done in the game of power. Play the game tactically , reject your master at the obvious points , but in a very inferior way. Show him that you’re capable , but make him feel that you accept the inferiority to him. He must always feel that he has you and the things in control.

Having a node above you in your control , can extend your power reach to the people below him. If you want something to be done in your favour, just slip it into your conversations , without any specific intensity. If you have your boss in control , the desired thing will definitely happen. Yet, sometimes people above come with a lot of prejudice against you. So the first thing , one has to do is a comprehensive assessment of one’s position , in his boss’s scheme of things. Efforts have to be made to turn the negatives into positives.

Any mistakes committed by you , should follow with an open apology to your boss. Any achievement should be humbly submitted as if your boss is one of the reasons for the achievement. Be secretly biased towards your upper nodes in any subjective arguments that occur.

The only time at which you cross the master is when the master looses his power naturally , or when you see a point where you can destroy his power to a null level. This is so very important because, if you try to destroy or overcome him , when he has control of the game , you will be crushed without hope. Power is an instrument which is yielded in the hierarchy. If you are traversing a system , Never overcome your master. Learn the arts of your craft from him. When the time comes, he must go. Make him yield to you , the power that you desire. Now your game, can bring the destruction of your master quicker, if you play your cards right. But destruction of a higher node , is only the last step of the shorter game. Get your actions together and your pieces at the right places before heading for the head.

Never yield. Never Submit yourself. Never trust. This is the way to power.
