Quality content is the most important search engine optimization factor there is and should be treated as such. This guide will teach you how to handle the most important SEO issue.

1. Make sure your content provides a benefit for your visitors
   No matter what you publish, always keep the visitor of your website in mind. Do not write articles that are “optimized” for keywords but do not contain any value for your readers. Search engines use factors like “bounce rate” and “average time on page” to value your content. If people directly close your site it will be interpreted as low value and should therefore be avoided.
2. If you need to write much, do it
   And the “if” is a big “IF”. Let’s say there is a topic you could say everything about in 250 words. Then do not write more than 250 words. If you start repeating yourself or stretching the text just for the sake of more content, stop it. BUT if you need to write much to explain the topic or you have in-depth knowledge about your topic and think that it would be of use to your readers, it will be perfect high quality content.
3. Update your content regularly
   Search engines love up-to-date information and if you are able to write high quality articles on a regular basis your rankings will dramatically increase without further ado.
