After much eager waiting, the scintillating Expo 2020 in Dubai, UAE is now open as of October 1, 2021! With its many pavilions representing more than 190 countries worldwide, it invites millions of visitors from around the globe to enjoy culture, connection, and creativity. Why should you be excited? Well, not only do ears and eyes behold innovation and future-shaping, but also entertainment by famous celebrities. Despite the COVID-19 pandemic delaying its breakthrough, the theme ‘Connecting Minds, Creating the Future’ is now resonating in social media and word of mouth.

From October 1, 2021, to March 31, 2022, Expo 2020’s gates are open to a world of fascination and enchantment. We also see more good news: certain people are free of charge to visit Expo 2020. These people include ages up to 17, university students (no matter where), People of Determination, and senior citizens of age 60 and above. If you do not fit into these criteria, do not fret. Prices range from 95 UAE dirhams for one day to 495 UAE dirhams for unlimited visits.

As grandiose as the architecture and technology may be, let’s not forget its purpose — to invoke passion in each heart to unite the world and reform it by the exchange of new ideas. By the words of Her Excellency Reem Al Hashimy, “The spirit behind Dubai Expo is not to put on a show but also to create opportunities and share expertise. You can deliver a great expo but that expo must have a great legacy.”
