Lockdown Loneliness

Lockdown: quite a funny concept, isn’t it? Do you remember the bustling streets of New York and California and the jam-packed shops and parks? We used to crib about what we had then. Not once did we ever stop and think to appreciate what we had. We still don’t. Because always remember, things can consistently get much worse than your situation today.

A virus. A simple virus was enough to instil fear in the minds of eight billion people. People who used to act so high and mighty are now cooped up in their homes. And the reason? A simple virus.

Time is still ticking. But you’ve got more than enough at the moment. So, what are you doing now? If the only answer you’ve got on your hands is ‘same old’, you should probably re-think your life choices.

Do something new. Now’s the time. Cook, read, clean, meditate. Do anything. Anything that makes you happy. Anything that makes yourself proud. At this point, I’m sure you can find something creative. You may be stuck in your house, but you can still find a thousand innovative projects.

Now, for the next few weeks, find things to keep you moving. Keep your mind running. Don’t stress. We’ve gone through much worse. We can go through this too. Live your life to the most you can. Be safe. Because, in the end, that’s what matters.
