FNX Purchasing Guide on Wanchain Wallet

Apart from the Bitrue subscription portal, WAN holders may enjoy a more simple and direct experience to subscribe for FNX tokens by smart contract through WAN Wallet desktop light version. Also, to show our gratitude to the Wanchain community, subscribing for FNX through WAN Wallet will be entitled to an additional 2% benefit.

Thank you for all your support!

The FNX Purchasing smart contract will be opened at UTC 8:00 AM, 11th May 2020, and terminated at UTC 7:59 AM, 17th May 2020.

The rate of FNX/WAN will be updated before 6 AM UTC every day.

The updated rate will be deployed in the smart contract at 8 AM UTC every day.

The applied rate of the day is calculated from WAN/USDT moving average price in the last 7 days from Binance Exchange.

By sending WAN to the designated address, the equivalent amount of FNX will be claimed into the same address.

The issuance price of FNX is 0.10 USDT. For example, if the WAN rate is 0.15USDT, one may get 1.53 FNX (0.15/0.10*(1+2%)) back in the wallet, by sending 1 WAN.

The table below will indicate the day’s FNX:WAN exchange rate:

How to Participate:

  1. Use the WAN Wallet (download here, see wallet guides here and here) to send WAN to the designated address. The best version for this purpose is the desktop light version of WAN Wallet. However, if you send WAN from other versions (Wanmask, mobile WanWallet, or the full node version) you will still receive your FNX, but you won’t be able to see it until you access that address from WAN Wallet desktop light. So make sure to backup your private keys!
  2. Find the designated address on fnx.finnexus.io. This website is the only source to get this address. We will not disclose the address on any other platform.
  3. IMPORTANT: Only send WAN from an account you have the private keys or backup phrase for. DO NOT send WAN from an exchange address such as Bitrue, Binance, or any other exchange. If so, your WAN will be lost.
  4. IMPORTANT: You MUST INCREASE GAS LIMIT to more than 100,000. After hitting “Send” in WAN Wallet, then click on “Advanced Options” and manually input a number higher than 100,000 in the “Gas Limit” field.
  5. Add FNX token to your Wan Wallet desktop light version so you can see your FNX balance. Note: This is the smart contract for the FNX token itself. DO NOT SEND WAN TO THIS ADDRESS. The FNX token contract is found here on wanscan.

When the transaction is done, you will receive the equivalent FNX at the same address where you sent the WAN.

The minimum amount of subscription is 0.1 WAN.

If you send WAN before or after this valid period of the smart contract, your transaction will be unwound and your WAN balance would remain the same.

I hope this helps to make the process for contributing with WAN much easier. Thank you for your support! It means very much to me.

Best,

Boris
