PhoenixDAO looks to launch their next flagship dApp — Events Marketplace!
Hello Community,
It has been a busy few weeks regarding development of the Phoenix Events dApp! Those of you who are not familiar with the dApp; it allows anyone the ability to create and sell event tickets, sold and powered by the $PHNX token.
Events can be virtual or in-person, all around the globe, crossing dozens of categories and is even trade-able. The developers are working hard to get this ready for Rinkeby test-net in the coming weeks, so you can all get your hands on it and even be a part of the community testing team! More detail will follow once we open up testing.
Most recently the developers have been working on ways to make the experience and flow simple and user friendly, this is important for adoption and is a big focus. Along with that, some standard tasks regarding how data is passed, stored and formatted has been tightened up to see our Events dApp ready to handle the masses.
We are excited to see the Marketplace taking shape and our roadmap for the New Year is going to add lots of great features and functionality. 2021 will see rolling enhancements to the user experience and utility of $PHNX. Users can also expect to see the huge benefits of layer 2 technology later on as we see layer 2 solutions removing big barriers of entry for the masses. Slow transaction speeds and high gas fees will soon be a distant memory!
Our aim is to see thousands of users benefitting from the dApp and buying tickets with $PHNX, all with access to great solutions which make the purchase of $PHNX simple and fast. The Events Marketplace is set to be another fantastic addition to our eco-system likely giving PhoenixDAO great marketing and partnership opportunities moving forward.
