Instant photography has gained significant traction over the past few years, as shown by a 2021 market research report. Coupled with Polaroid’s revival from the Impossible Project in 2017, instant photography is now a fun, quirky hobby. Market research suggests there are more and more camera companies working on products in this photography niche. However, the most affordable and widely available products to date are manufactured by two brands: Polaroid, formerly under the name Polaroid Originals, and Fujifilm, under the brand name Instax.

I couldn’t be happier that instant photography has hit the mainstream and is now more affordable than ever. I’m sold on instant photography and the benefits of taking up this hobby; I’ve been travelling with an instant camera everywhere for the past five years and taken hundreds of pictures.
