Why a CEX listing now?
The market turbulence over the last few months caused market participants to move away from more volatile alt-coins and into large-cap tokens and stablecoins. With the best interests of the Chromie Community and project at heart, we believed it would be unwise to list $PHCR until the market somewhat stabilised. Since the beginning of February, we have seen the market stabilise, providing us with the perfect opportunity for a CEX listing.
What is the long-term vision?
Given our mission: To empower everyone with a universal digital identity that transcends barriers, enabling safe metaverse interactions.
A listing is merely the beginning of the journey towards identity autonomy. Consequently, we are more focused on bedding down a superb product and user experience than short-term price performance and volatility across the market. PhotoChromic is a small, yet foundational, building block for web3.

PhotoChromic Tokenomics
We are focused on the long-term performance of PhotoChromic, and we strive to optimize for various performance metrics. These performance metrics include token price performance; circulating supply; capital for the runway of the project; the best interests of our Chromie Community, our seed and private investors and of course our chosen CEX with their valuable community of investors.
Earning the privilege to list on the Huobi Primelist is no easy task. The value of such a privilege in strengthening the community and token performance is unparallelled. In discussions with the exchange about optimising the process for all participants, vesting has had to be extended for all allocations by two weeks. For clarity, the tokenomics are given in the diagram hereunder.
Cardstarter IDO participants
For Cardstarter IDO participants, tokens will be airdropped 14 days after the listing. This was initially set for the time of listing, together with Seed and Private investors.
Being mindful of all sensitivities in this regard, we have agreed to prioritise the token allocation of the CardStarter IDO participants. We appreciate this might not match everyone’s expectations.
The CardStarter IDO participants are an invaluable component of the Chromie community and we have endeavoured throughout this process to optimise the upside benefits not only for CardStarter IDO participants but also for all participants of the project as a whole.
