“Cerro Crystal …” from YannQ Photographies makes me think of the movie Frozen. It’s chaos of ice. It’s a frozen body of water crystalizing as you see it. One step and you’re drowning in a cold mess.

I love the colors, the shadows, the details of the ice and the beautiful cool tones with subtle warmness in the background.

“City of the Future” from Sebastian_Tontsch is so beautiful with all of its twists and turns and amazing colors. The exposure time is long enough to get some nice light streaks missed with the camera absorbing all the ambiance of the street lights.

There’s a great mix of bright and dark from the foreground to background. The sky’s blue tone is moody and inviting. Overall an awesome photo.

“Ajar” from Gianstefano Fontana Vaprio is such a bold portrait. It all starts with the subject, who you can tell has seen things. Has been around and has his own stories. His skin is dark and rough. His hands even more so. The details in his wrinkles and facial hair and eyes are all awesome. The tones throughout the photo are very cinema-esq which add to the drama you see. The smoke from the cigarette add to this aspect even more. It’s such a strong portrait that it deserves an Editor’s Choice.

“Eternity” from AtomicZen reminds me of movies where volcanoes erupt and destroy everything in sight. This photo has a really cool sense of purity mixed with destruction. The treeing the foreground might be dead already, but it being alone and surrounded by grass is really interesting when placed in front of a mountain glowing orange. It’s super itneresting!
