Talk about beautiful stories. “Summer Love” from Jake Olson Studios could have many. The story I see when looking at it, is a motocross biker just completed a very difficult practice run. His personal cheerleader (aka girlfriend) was so proud of his accomplishments that she rushed in for a huge kiss before the biker had a chance to stop.
I love the dynamics between the foreground and background. It goes from soft to sharp to soft again. The colors are super vibrant and bright in the middle, on the biker and the girl.
I am enjoying every thing about this photo.
“Moeraki Boulders” from Tarik AlTurki has a really cool sense of an other world. It’s not often you see perfectly round and smooth boulders like this. Adding the interesting color toning and strong colored vignette, it really kicks the photo up a level. I love the details in the first boulder, and the cracks and textures on it. The horizon’s color is also quite beautiful.
“After the storm” from Primiano D’Apote has some interesting lines pointing me towards the house on the hill. First is the hill itself, filled with orange and texture. Its line is on an upward angle towards the house. Then there is the mountain background, on a downward angle also leading to the house. The sky is filled with pretty blues and pings and also has just enough texture and detail to make out what is in the distance. The playfulness and simplicity is quite appealing to the eye.
