“Ophelia’s Garden (3)” from Jessica Drossin can be multiple stories. To me it’s of a girl who ran away from life at the castle. She wanted to enjoy the easy moments in life. The moments where she can lay down on the ground and gaze up at the sky.

I love the beautiful colors and light in this photo. The background is soft, puffy with greens and purples. The subject has purple, reds and greens. And the super matching tones work so well.

“Silence” from Josep Sumalla caught my attention for one reason. Sometimes the simplest compositions are the best compositions. A lone tree in the middle of the water with a perfect reflection and glowing backlight. How can you go wrong?

“Hankering” from Antonina Bukowska is super creative an yet such a simple composition an idea. But sometimes those are the best. The processing isn’t anything fancy and the cropping might even be improved. But the vision behind it is so fun, inviting and enjoyable overall that I think it makes a great EC.
