My 500px Editor’s Choice for May 26, 2015
“Story of Rapunzel” from İlhan Eroglu is titled appropriately. Before even looking at the title that’s exactly what I thought. It’s such a cool story and the photo portrays it really well. I love the “village” in the distance, the castle in the foreground, the wide composition and the moonlight.
“Home Within the Hills” from Michael Brandt caught my attention because it’s from Palouse, Washington. I’m headed there real soon so I was inspired by the photo immediately. The rolling hills of greens and reds and oranges. It’s so beautiful. There’s texture and direction and shapes and just so much playfulness.
“I’m a coffeebender!” from Dina Belenko is super interesting. I enjoy a good cup of coffee, although I’m not a fanatic like one of my good friends *cough, @GServo*. I love how this looks as though the person is magically making the coffee dance out of the cup. Add the pretty, and pleasing to the eye, processing and it’s a winner all around.
