A Sequence of Events

I am often asked if I have ever been tempted to shoot video, particularly since my newish Fuji X-E1 can take good video. My usual answer is that I can only see one picture at a time.

The closest I have ever been to video are my sequences. They work as three or as five. I like to frame them in one mat and make the pictures no bigger than three inches wide. At a gallery show it forces viewers to place their noses close to the frame. That is pretty intimate. Here is an example of a rarish narrative (as I call them) of four.
