Yesterday, the folks at Alchemy Learning Project launched SmartBinder, their free pilot product. SmartBinder is a cloud-based lesson binder for educators that lets them store and deliver materials to students, and collect data on student engagement and understanding.

Henry and Winthrop (the founders of Alchemy) came to us about a year ago with their idea — which we think is amazing. SmartBinder makes storage and delivery of lessons a lot easier, and goes above and beyond what is possible in a traditional classroom by capturing student mastery data in an easily digestible format. There are few modern tools that help teachers manage their classroom workflows to this degree, and we’re really proud of what we’ve spent so much time working on.

We worked on the design, UX and front-end development; and our friends at Big Nerd Ranch did the back-end development. Congrats everyone!
