If someone is new to data science, very often will need data to practice with SQL, Python, and any other data science programming language or tool. However, it is not straightforward where to get these data. Someone might be able to find a dataset on the internet to practice with like the NorthWind database or similar but I believe it is very important to be able to generate the data that you need by yourself. Here I do not mean completely by yourself but using a specific website that allows you to generate almost any data type that you want with just a few clicks.

This website is called Mockaroo and came to know about it recently and I find it very useful to generate data to practice with many data science tools and have total control over the data type that one wants to generate. Said this, and now let me explain in short, without being too boring, how Mockaroo works.

Main page

When you visit the Mockaroo website, the main page looks like the page in Fig. 1 below. The main page has several tabs and fields on it that allow the user to explore the website. One can observe that central on the main page is a section that looks like a form ready to choose the data to create.
