Pi Labs’ Growth Programme 2025: Applications Open
We are excited to announce the launch of our 13th Growth Programme for early-stage companies redefining the built world.
2024 marks a special year for us as we celebrate our 10th anniversary as an early-stage venture capital firm based in London. Over the past decade, we have built an incredible portfolio of founders that are driving innovation at the forefront of the industry, working to shape a digital and sustainable future for the built world — one that works for everyone.
As we mark this milestone, we are raising the bar and expanding our focus on diverse, high-growth companies that are pioneering change in the industry.
If your company is solving key sector challenges, demonstrating impressive early growth, and is ready to scale, we want to hear from you. Our 12-week programme will equip you with the tools and support to expand into the European market, fast-tracking your success with personalised guidance and a strong network. We believe diverse leadership is key to innovation and are committed to helping you scale your business globally.
Our Story in Numbers
Nothing tells a story better than a few standout numbers.
Over the first 10 years of Pi Labs, we have made over 90 investments across 15 countries, raised three funds, and celebrated 13 successful exits.
Through the Programme, we have supported 56 companies and over 100 founders, helping them raise more than $200 million collectively. We are proud to have championed incredible female founders over the years, and this remains central to our mission. 26% of our cohort companies in the past decade have had at least one female founder. We know that diverse leadership builds stronger, more resilient companies, and we are dedicated to fostering even greater inclusion in the future.
Our programme attracts an average of 1,000 applicants per cohort, with a highly competitive acceptance rate of less than 1%.
Why Apply?
Pi Labs stands out from traditional accelerators by offering targeted support specifically for founders driving transformation in the built environment. Our Growth Programme provides workshops led by industry experts on essential skills like managing sales pipelines, creating sustainable pricing models, building effective teams, and more. You will also benefit from mentorship from experienced leaders who understand your journey and can offer personalized guidance.
Our mission is to help you move from early-stage pilots to securing long-term, large-scale customers within 12 weeks.
What Are We Looking For?
This year, we are doubling down on our mission to digitalise and decarbonise the built world. We are committed to reviewing more companies than ever before while ensuring diversity remains a top priority in our selection process. We understand that women-led companies are crucial to solving the industry’s biggest challenges, and we are here to support those leading the charge.
Here are the key areas we are focusing on:
- Sustainable Construction: The sector is under growing pressure from regulations around carbon emissions and workforce shortages. We are looking for companies offering innovative solutions, particularly across the supply chain, which is responsible for 37% of global emissions.
- Efficient Buildings: For building owners and operators, the work does not end when a project is completed. Sustainable margins must be driven through energy management, carbon reporting, and facilities maintenance. Retrofitting older buildings is crucial, and global incentives are increasingly supporting these essential upgrades.
- Healthy Cities: Cities are living ecosystems, where buildings and communities are deeply interconnected. We need solutions that improve the interaction between urban infrastructure and its residents, including electric vehicle charging, public transport integration, last-mile delivery, and data centres to support growing populations.
- Future of Housing, Office, and Retail: These sectors shape our everyday lives. Global challenges like rising living costs, housing affordability, and evolving workplace dynamics are contributing to growing inequality. We need innovative, forward-thinking ideas to address these critical issues.
If your company is tackling one of these challenges, we want to hear from you.
