The Missing Piece

A poem

Don’t settle for a puzzle that doesn’t fit.

When life is done that’s a wrap
Some will never find a love to fill that gap
Just like a missing piece of a puzzle
So tiny, yet colossal
You searched all over
Met some casanovas
Who won you over
Made your heart melt like butter.

Should we talk about the under covers
Why are they the best lovers
But deception can’t last forever
Someone will surely suffer
Such a bitter pill to swallow
That’s the thing I usually follow
A love that truly fulfils
He’s the missing piece to your puzzle.

This poem explores the feeling, the search for a love that truly fulfills. We all yearn for connection, and sometimes we settle for fleeting flings or empty promises. But those casanovas with their charm can leave us feeling even more hollow. This poem is a reminder that true love is worth waiting for. It’s about finding that missing piece that completes your puzzle, a love that brings lasting joy and fulfillment.

So don’t settle, keep searching, because out there is someone who will fill that gap and make your heart truly sing.
