You once found John Mayer a fine musician, and even tapped along to his songs from time to time. But that all changed the day your mom discovered the song “Your Body is a Wonderland.” It’s time to shut that down, one wasp at a time.

Remember when your mom sang the lyrics ‘I love the shape you take when crawling towards the pillowcase’ OUT LOUD with your friends in the car? Well, now’s the time to forget. Here’s another wasp:

Is that one a bee technically? I don’t know. But what I DO know is that your mom likes a song with these lyrics:

“We got the afternoon
You got this room for two
One thing I’ve left to do
Discover me
Discovering you”

Time for another wasp?

This guy looks like he stings…much like the memory of your mother saying “I love John Mayer” in a definitely sexual way after she heard “Your Body is a Wonderland” on the radio for the 40th time…

Wasp time!

Your mom is DEFINITELY imagining herself as the object of John Mayer’s affection in this song.

So while she pictures that, you can picture a tiny, buzzing wasp with gigantic wasp eyes and a penchant for stinging, like this:

Hey, remember these lyrics? “One pair of candy lips and your bubblegum tongue.”

Good luck out there.
