Four out of Five Dentists Don’t Recommend Chewing on the Couch
There has been a recent study that four out of five dentists don’t recommend chewing on the couch.
Dr. Alison Jenkins, DDS, comments, “Chewing on the couch will ruin your teeth without a doubt. Most dogs who are prone to do it are bored, so the best cure is sunshine and fresh air.”
Dr. Dennis Gordon, DDS, also agrees with Dr. Jenkins comment about chewing on the couch. “I talked a puppy out of chewing on furniture by hanging out at a local park. It’s nice outside and I told him to enjoy it after staying inside so much after this long winter. Now he’s much happier because of my recommendation.”
Dr. Barry Tienberg, DDS, disagrees with Dr. Jenkins and Dr. Gordon’s testimonials. He said, “Chewing on the couch makes you more of a dog. If you don’t like doing it, you’ll turn into a cat.”
