Headmaster of Knight School Speaks Out Against School Slayings
Dear Lords and Ladies,
We appreciate your continued patronage and the sending of your boys to our establishment. We work our hardest to train the best knights possible. Please allow us to extend our apologies for the worry you have felt because of the recent non-combat related casualties of students.
I understand you’d like us to reconsider our sword bylaws. But it was written 100 years ago, as the founders fought invading forces, that all students would be allowed to carry a sword. This is, of course, for their protection. I’d also like to point out that swords don’t kill children. People with swords kill children.
Now before you send letters or heralds complaining remember we are all in this together. No one wants these young boys to die. We all would like them to die in their sleep from some unavoidable disease or witches curse in their elderly years, around 40.
Best regards,
Sir Gareth Aberdeen
